This week went veeeeery slowly

And i had my birthday earlier this week. That sucks. But time to move on. Im glad next week is one day shorter. Its Vappu on wednesday. Another excuse for Finns to drink...
Tomorrow we have photography again, i just hope this time we actually can take some photos. Last time we didnt have the time. I havent used my camera as much as i had planned. im too picky what it comes to taking photos. i should just take photos from anything that moves or looks a little bit interesting. But no...
Again, nothing really special has happened this week, so guess its time to finish. i'll try to keep u updated more often. And to put some photos that ive taken by myself or from stuff i've done. Thats all, have a nice start for the week tomorrow!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

To myself! Yep, 22 years old. But I had my birthday "party" yesterday already. Or at least I got my presents then. It was the best day for awhile!
Yesterday was also Olarin Perhelystit and I was working there, making face paintings for kids. It was really really nice. Although it might be nice to actually visit the event, not work there. Again, four hours straight, no breaks at all. Maybe next year I should count how many kids there are to be painted. Plenty, but how much exactly... I took my drawings and calling cards with me and oh it was a great idea! I got one more face painting -job, PLUS someone asked if I would be interested to illustrate her books! AWESOME! Well i know that it might and probably won't happen, but it still made my day that somebody even asked something like that. Good day it was yesterday...
But that means today feels like any normal day. Fudge. Well I did get one present from my sister, everyone else gave them yesterday. I got a board game from my other sister and a TV from my parents. That's something I'm going to take with me when I move out... Then today I opened my 2nd sister's present. She bought me a hilarious book, about Star Wars' Darth Vader. Very hilarious!
Guess that's all for now. I'm back spending my quality time in front of computer doing nothing, at school...

This week is going to slow

Waaaay to slow. But it's Wednesday tomorrow so that's good. But then again we have studio photography and I didn't like it that much. It's a lot of waiting and waiting and nothing else. I of course understand why, but I think that those who can't be in the studio could do just regular photography. But no. No no no no. Well, today was quite fun. We had calligraphy lesson, or texting lesson. Calligraphy is probably more correct. Anyways, we started the first job, everyone had to make their own anfang-letter, u know, the big letter that's like four rows high and has some drawings with it. Well just see the pic if u don't get it. But that was fun. Because it was the first assignment, we could choose our own way to make it. No need to use the fountain pen and ink yet. I forgot my equipment back home, so I had to do my anfang with markers. But it was really fun and it turned out quite nice. I'll put another drawing I finished today. Both of them succeeded pretty well I think. Yep.
If u haven't already noticed, there's three things I'm waiting for this weekend and next week. First, Olarin Perhelystit, that's on Sunday, then my birthday, that's Monday, and after that on Tuesday it's (probably) Art House's bookshops opening. Grand opening if I might say. I'm still not sure if it is held on Tuesday, but I'll try to find out. Soon. Very soon... Maybe... Guess that's all that has happened this week. Nothing special. So,

the best period so far

many interesting lessons and many inspiring ideas. Like yesterday and i guess today as well. Yesterday we started a new work, every one had to do three paintings, a triptych that is. first painting had to have a human painted somehow. Shadow or everything related to human was ok. Next was an object and the third a feeling or emotion. It was quite funny actually, when the teacher was talking about the work and telling all the details i was sketching just something random and just for fun. But when i heard the idea of the work, i asked if i could do the drawing/sketch as my painting and it was ok. I really cant wait until next thursday. i only managed to paint the covers of all three pieces. but it's going to be awesome!
today we started to do some pottery from regular white clay. now im not SO thrilled when working with 3D items. i just dont have any vision for making 3d stuff. Now i did an ok job, not perfect but good enough for me. im definitely going to put some pictures here, dont worry my dear occasional readers.
Next week is going to be veeery painful. Only 10 day until my birthday. i keep shouting about it but nothing special isnt actually going to happen. Nothing. But the next weekend is great, because it's OLARIN PERHELYSTIT! And few days after that is Art House publisher's bookshop's opening. or at least i think its then, April the 23rd. i have to check that out. Definitely going to visit, IF i have the time and the money... the problem is probably money... yep.

Bowling it was

As I promised, I was bowling yesterday. And I went quite well. Not practise, but the competition. Actually it was a huge mistake to go practising before the competition. Before the last game my arm was in so much pain that it was hard the get the ball running. But I made it and I even "won" or got 5 packs of Kouvola's Lakritsi, liquorice that is. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but if there's nothing else...
Then later on Saturday I watched the Rise of the Guardians, the name wasn't Five legends as I first thought. It was only the Finnish name. But anyway, I liked the movie, I liked it very much. Sandman was my absolute favourite. And what I didn't like was that the Santa Claus was Russian. Damn they're stupid when they don't know he comes from Finland. Hmph!
I didn't do much today, except a little bit drawing. This time I try to use my Faber-Castell's pens instead of markers. I only coloured one spot so I don't know yet how the work turns out. But lets see.

Screwed up -day

Yeah, not the best one indeed. I had to take some blood tests today and decided to go as early as possible so it wouldn't take so much time. Well, the short version is that I did not succeed, I had to go there again, few hours later and after the tests when I was already back home, they asked me to come back, AGAIN! So I have to go there tomorrow before school. I don't mind, but I'm afraid that I don't have the time to catch up all the stuff they've done at school. Lets just hope I do...
Guess nothing else interesting happened today. I hope I would get my rental-movie gift card tomorrow, I'm definitely going to rent the new "Five Legends", "Viisi Legendaa" -movie. I like animation movies, just can't help it...
And only two weeks and couple of days until my birthday. It would be cool to throw a party, but without any friends it would be kinda boring... Sigh*... But still can't wait!

Holidays go so fast

And so I have only one day left. But then again I don't have to go on Thursday when I have a doctors appointment in the morning so after that it would be stupid to go to school. That means I have only two days of school this week. Fine by me.
I haven't really done anything today. Nothing special at least. I should start sketching some ideas to the Olarin Perhelystit. Only three weeks to go. CAN'T WAIT! I hope this time we have a nice and sunny weather, last time it was all dark and rainy. But then again it means more customers for me. But then again THAT means I don't have the time to take a break, like always. But I don't mind...
I'm too tired to write anything "deep" so I just say good night and easy on the April fools day -jokes. I hate em!
