iPad-case

This is my iPad-case. I made it from a book using Sinelli's instructions. And the instructions sucked! But it looks quite nice, although it's not done yet... And I'm not sure if I'll use it, because the iPad fits only barely in there. But at least I have something to do after school...

My marker-collection

I updated my marker-selection. I have all the Letraset's Promarkers, most of the FlexMarkers (I'm missing like six or something) and the first package of NEONmarkers (I really didn't like those AquaMarkers, those were complete failure). And I just decided that when I become a graphic-designer I'm going to buy all the TriaMarkers OR I make a HUUUUGE switch and start to buy Copic-markers. It's not so easy to buy Copics from Finland plus they're SOOOOOO expensive, so I should get a sponsor or something/someone who would buy those for me. Hint hint... But that's far away in the future, like two years from now!

Today

Today i had only "one hour", or one class and that's four hours. The class was all about illustration and we had to do caricatures from other students which was really hard when nobody didn't actually knew each other so well. But then the teacher added that if u don't know who to draw, u can draw yourself. Well that wasn't easy either but I managed to do something, not any good, but something. And I'm NOT going to put any pictures here. I'm just glad that those drawings aren't criticised. Thank god! But now I'm going to bed, school starts at 8 o'clock...............

Once more people

So. Today my school really starts. Last week was actually just a preparation and that we got to know each other. Today is the 2nd easiest day, only 4 hours, wednesday is the easiest I think. It's also 4 hours but it starts already at 10 o'clock and I like to be home earlier than later. Now we'll just hope this gets more interesting...

First week gone, first work done!

So this was it. Our first "design" as graphic designers. I wanted to make an animal that doesn't jump right up from the final work, so I used promarkers. Well, it happened so that no one else used markers so my stupido tigger is VERY visible. Crab

Ipad2

So, today I made a big step with my studies (I think it was a big step) when I bought an iPad2. It took almost all of my savings, but I think it was worth it. We'll see... Tomorrow it's first long day and I should have been already at 9 o'clock in bed, but here we are. Wake up at 6 o'clock and because of the traffic I have to leave hour before the school starts. Bummer, real bummer I'll say! Good night!

Wednesday...

Soon leaving to school, but got this drawing done before that. I'm going to take my FlexMarkers with me today, if I could get a chance to draw something. Probably not, but I'll take them anyway. Today is pretty easy day (mainly because I skipped the first two hours...), but tomorrow I'll get a taste of what's going to come next week, 7am to 4pm... Double sigh...

Every morning

15 minutes and I have to leave to school. That's one hour before the school really starts! We'll see how long can I take this. And these first days are the easiest ones. Plus I don't have time to draw anymore! I can't take my markers with me. My backpack ain't big enough! Sigh...

School-year starts

So, tomorrow I start in my new school. Still excited and nervous. Plus I didn't sleep well last night, mainly because our DEAR neighbours wash their laundry at night-time and our walls shake because of that. Usually it's mum who can't sleep because of that, but this time everyone else slept like babies but I couldn't. The annoying thing is that we have already said many many MANY times that the washing machine keeps us awake, but they just don't care. Next time I call the cops, seriously! But the big news really is that my two-years holiday ends tomorrow! WHAAAAAT!?!? I just hope that the teachers tried to only scare us by saing that we have to sit there from 8am to 4pm, every day. I hope so, i really do.

Tomorrow tomorrow and so on

Yep, tomorrow I go to my new school and accept my place there. So excited soooo nervous! And it didn't help me in any way that my boss called today and asked how much can I do shifts alongside my school. I mean come oooon!?! Wait until my school gets even started. Then again I understand if they counted me in as a secured teacher. But still... And just now I understood how much I'm going to miss my "old" job and the kids. I know I continue working with them, but much much MUCH less than I have worked before... So many changes... Sigh

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! This has been the best day for a while! I guess after the day I graduated... I got accepted in to Graphic Design school at Vantaa. I'm soooo happy. Even when I know that the schools location is going to be a problem. But that's future's problem...
The other great news was that my bigsister got a job, a full-day job! I mean seriously, this has been a wonderful day!!!!!!!

Looking bad

Yep, it's not looking so good, my studying I mean. Today was the day when school's employees came back to work and it seems that no one has said no to their place in that school and that means it's one more year at work for me. I'm not surprised about this, but then again i'm getting tired to just sit and not doing anything. And I don't count 2 hours work per day as an activity, not at all...

Hunger Games

This morning I finished the 3rd book of Hunger Games, the Mockingjay. I have to say that after the first book I didn't expect anything like this at all. I mean, the serie is incredible, but also very very VERY brutal. During this last book I had goosebumps many times. I remember that someone said in a review that all the three books were too predictable. After this last book, I don't agree at all. I haven't seen the movie yet, and now i'm not so sure if I even wan't to. Usually the book is much more informative and when you read the book before you see the movie, at least I become almost angry that they have left some important or fun parts from the movie. And that's not cool. If you film a movie, you do it well! Hmmmm... I think someone might see nightmares after this...

Starts again

The fact is that it's already October and school and work starts soon. Again, I don't think this summer has been any better than last years, but I did manage to do a few things in my summers to do -list. I don't know yet wether I continue working or do I somehow get a place to study. That will be revealed to me next Monday, I think. And I'm not sure which one is better. I guess studying is more useful but then again... Don't know...
